About Us

Rubicon National Social Innovations: San Francisco, California, United States; Rubicon National Social Innovations is an initiative of Rubicon, an award-winning leader in the social enterprise field with over 25 years experience building effective social purpose businesses. We strive to redefine what the expectations and aspirations for social enterprises should be. For social enterprises to have a significant impact on poverty and wealth generation in the U.S., we believe they must reach a much greater scale and national scope than has been created to date. Our goal is to launch a nationally scaled social enterprise that has a positive and lasting impact on individuals living in poverty and is financially sustainable in the long-term from the revenues it generates rather than an ongoing subsidy. We also recognize that to achieve such a goal, a substantial investment in the research and development for this new enterprise is required and we are grateful for the generous support already received and the additional start up investors who see the value of such R&D in the social sector.
